Saundra “Sissy” Linda Hornback Pollard

1946 - 2014

Saundra “Sissy” Linda Hornback Pollard, 67, Hulbert, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in Tulsa. She was born June 16, 1946 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Ben Hornback and Jessie Gibson Hornback. Sissy attended Sequoyah Public School and Alice Robertson Jr High, both in Muskogee as well as Coolidge Elementary in Coolidge, AZ.  

She worked at HB Egan on the assembly line.  

Sissy’s hobbies included fishing, bingo, and dancing. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.  

She married her best friend, Jimmy Pollard in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on December 13, 2001.

Sissy was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, John and Eva Hornback and Ben and Alice Gibson.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Tommy Sipes, Billy-Travis Sipes, Frankey Sipes, Marvin Rowell; brother, Ronald Hornback; grandchildren, Kristal Pierce, Taylor Sipes, Kelsey Sipes, Zack Rowell, Tori Sipes, Cameron Sipes; stepchildren, Clay Pollard and Carrie Pollard; step grandchildren, Jessie Pollard, Bree Pollard, Kaylen Pollard, and Addison Pollard; five great grandchildren; nephew, Mike Hornback; niece, Gina Mackey; many other family members and friends.

A memorial service honoring Sissy's life will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Randy Wilson officiating.  

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma. Condolences may be made to the family online
