Margaret Dean Ralls

1941-2012

— Margaret Dean Ralls, 71, longtime Warner resident passed from this life on October 12, 2012 in Muskogee. She was born in Woodward, OK to Al and Alberta (Albert) Kenedy on June 14, 1941. At an early age, she moved with the family to Warner, where she attended school and graduated from Warner High School. Upon her graduation she attended and later graduated from NSU in Tahlequah and later earned her Masters Degree in education.

Margaret had met Richard while they attended school together in Warner, and they were married on June 30, 1962. She also started her teaching career in 1962 where she had taught elementary classes in the same classroom until her retirement in 2001. She and Richard bought a travel trailer and spent several winters in South Texas where they made many friends. Margaret loved to attend car shows and music festivals. Margaret was a longtime member of Warner United Methodist Church, the Red Hatters Club and enjoyed photography. She never met a stranger, having many conversations with people she had never met.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Richard of the home; son Richard L. Ralls, Jr. of Warner; sister and brother in-law Virginia and Dennis Ary of Gore, OK and several nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Warner United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Buttrum and Rev. Craig Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Warner Memorial Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Thompson, Richard Glover, Dale Whitby, Tommy Godfrey, Justin Glover and Carl Miller.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers friends can remember Margaret with a donation to Warner United Methodist Church, Box 298, Warner, OK 74469.
