Buster Williams

1923-2012

— Funeral services for Buster Williams, 89, of Muskogee will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Reverend Don Goddard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home in Muskogee.

Buster Williams was born June 16, 1923 in Stigler, OK, the son of Frank and Viola (Raines) Williams and died October 26, 2012 in Muskogee. On March 11, 1983 he married Joyce Eslick in Muskogee. Buster served his country in the United States Army. He was a layout supervisor at the Iron Works. Buster was a Baptist and a member of Muskogee Iron Workers Union. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and eight sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Williams of the home; two children, Charlotte Adair and Wayne Williams both of Muskogee, OK; a special step-daughter who took care of him, Brenda Morgan and her husband, Harvey, of Muskogee, OK; step-children, Mike Woods and wife, Kathy, of Muskogee, OK, Joe Woods and wife, Vickie, of Muskogee, OK, Doug Woods of Oktaha, OK, Jerry Holuby and wife, Lori, of Edmond, OK; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
