Linda Olive Morgan


Linda Olive Morgan, 60, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Monday, November 11, 2013. She was born October 3, 1953 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Eugene D. Prior and Romana E. Prax Prior. Linda attended school in Whitebear Lake, MN graduating with the class of 1971. She attended a vocational school in St. Paul, MN, receiving her Associates Degree.

Linda worked as a childcare specialist. She enjoyed crocheting, word search puzzles, journaling, and most important, spending time with her children and grandchildren. During the past year, Linda enjoyed reconnecting with many family members and friends.

She was a faithful member of York Street Christian Church in Muskogee.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Prior in 1983; and her stepfather, Kendred Bobo in 1998.

She is survived by her husband, Charles K. Morgan of the home; daughter, Rachel Lane and husband, Brandon of Okay, OK, son, Jason Morgan and wife, Amanda of Anna, TX; grandchildren, Dylan Morgan, Abigail Morgan, and Joshua Morgan, all of Anna, TX; her mother, Romana E. Bobo of Muskogee; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends.

Linda was loved by many and will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Linda’s honor at York Street Christian Church.

Funeral services celebrating Linda’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2013 at York Street Christian Church with Gene Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Warner Memorial Cemetery with Brandon Lane, Dylan Morgan, Ronald Prior, James Bobo, Michael Prax, and Harvey Williams serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Morgan and Abigail Morgan.
