Mary Lee Reich, 90 of Muskogee, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Franciscan Villa in Broken Arrow. She was born October 1, 1923 in Wagoner, Oklahoma, the daughter of Burnett and Ethel Geurin. She attended Wagoner High School and on January 19, 1941 she married Seaborn Lee Reich. They moved to Coweta where Seaborn Lee was working for the MKT (Katy) Railroad. Since this was her senior year in high school, she continued her education and graduated from Coweta High School.
Mary Lee was employed many years as a secretary at Carpenters Union Hall and for Attorneys John Moffitt and Bill Harris.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the LaVona Cromer Group. Her favorite hobby was playing Mah Jong with her friends.
Mary Lee was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Seaborn Lee Reich; sisters, Mabel Cannon, Myrtle (See) Day, Lillie Coventon and Marie Leak, and brothers, H.B. Geurin, Jr. and J.A. Geurin.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheryl Lee Arnold, and grandson, Tyler J. Arnold of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; brother, Ronnie Geurin of Oklahoma City; sister, Myrna Camp of Broken Arrow; sister-in-law, Jan Geurin of Bixby and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in Fosters’ Ivory Chapel at Foster-Petering Funeral Home in Muskogee. Interment will follow Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner.
