Funeral services for Jessie M. Stovall, 88, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Southeast Baptist Church with Reverend Doug Miller officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.

Jessie was born June 4, 1925 at Checotah, OK, the daughter of Charlie and Jewel (Chastain) Akin and died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Muskogee. On April 18, 1954 she married Roy J. Stovall in Muskogee. Jessie was a member of Southeast Baptist Church. Prior to retirement, she worked as a secretary at the Veterans Administration Regional Office.

Survivors include her son, David Stovall and wife, Connie, of Warner; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Stovall; and sister, Lois Schwartz.
