1961- 2014

Salvatore Augustine Owens of Muskogee passed away at the age of 52 on Monday March 31st, 2014. Sal was born in Manhasset, New York on October 16, 1961. Sal came to Muskogee, OK in January 1978 and attended Muskogee High School.  

Sal Managed Git n Go and Kum and Go stores for 20 years. He was a stranger to no one and had such an impact with the public if you mentioned his name to almost anyone they knew him. He enjoyed playing sports of any kind for recreation and he played City and Church league softball. He was the best father, brother or friend you could ever have. He believed in family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his children.

He leaves behind 3 sons Joseph Owens and wife Shelby Owens of Muskogee, Nicholas Owens and wife Christie Owens of Warner, and Timathy Owens of Muskogee. He leaves behind 7 Grandchildren. Jacob Owens, Avalynn Owens, Joshua Owens, Ian Owens, Addilynn Owens, Baden Walker and Peyton Walker.

Memorial Services will be held at Boulevard Christian Church on May 13, 2014 at 4:00 p.m.
