Amanda “Mandy” Ruth Weaver

1980-2013

Amanda “Mandy” Ruth Weaver of Moore, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the age of 33.  She was born March 4, 1980 in El Paso, Texas to Gary Weaver and Patricia Watkins Weaver.  Mandy graduated from Okay High School with the class of 1998.  She furthered her education earning a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters degree in Criminal Justice and was pursuing a second Masters degree in psychology.  Mandy was offered an all-expense paid trip to London to study criminal behavior. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Mandy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, A.C. and Naomi Weaver; her maternal grandparents, Noble and Bernice Watkins; and her uncle, John C. Weaver.

She is survived by her parents, Gary and Pat Weaver of Muskogee; her brother, Michael Smith and wife, Leslie; nephew, Riley Smith; nieces, Bailey Smith and Kinsey Smith, all of Warner Robins, GA.; lifelong friends John and Carolyn Lonsdale and their children, David, Stephanie, and Daniel, all of Muskogee; aunts,  Florene Cross of Mannford, OK., Joanne Meier of Canton, KS., Naomi Morris of Hillsboro, KS., Sharon Crouse of Lindsborg, KS., Ruth Taylor of East Palestine, OH., Barbara Robinson of Duncanville, TX., Kay Watkins of New Boston, TX., and Dorothy Brown of Hughes Springs, TX.; uncles, Glenn Watkins of New Boston, TX., Ralph Brown of Hughes Springs, TX., and Lloyd Weaver of  Tupelo, MS., many cousins and friends from all over the US.

Mandy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service celebrating Mandy’s life will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Donnie Echols officiating.  

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Condolences may be made to the family online at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com
