1931 - 2013

— Lester Ray Lee, 81, died Thursday February 14, 2013 at his home in Muskogee. He was born on November 11, 1931 to Perry and Unice Lee in Cameron, OK. Lester came to the Muskogee area in 1961 and worked as a truck driver and drag line operator for Peabody Coal. Later he owned and operated his own trucking company and other businesses Lee Transportation and Norwood Mountain Rock Farm. Lester loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and horses.

He was preceded in death by his parents Unice Lee and Perry Lee his second wife Linda Lee and grandsons Eric Lee and Billy Lee, Jr. Lester is survived by his wife Melvina Lee of California; ex-wife Louis Soll of Arizona; sons Jimmy Lee and wife Nancy of Muskogee, Billy Lee of Muskogee and Ron Lee of Tulsa; daughters Peggy Ives and husband Errol of Arizona, Susan Diaz of California, Kathy Kinsey and husband Gary of Wyoming and Brenda Lee of Muskogee; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday February 20, 2013 at the Bradley Belltower Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Bradley Funeral Service. Friends may send condolences to the family at
