Ancil “Jerome” Kellogg, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, at the age of 74, went to be with the Lord. He was born September 17, 1938 in Checotah, Oklahoma to William North and Loree Madewell North. Jerome grew up in Checotah where he attended school. He met and later married Miles Ellen Collins on September 1, 1961, celebrating 52 years together. Jerome worked for Brockway Glass Company from which he retired in 1994 after 37 years of service. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Muskogee.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Sue Fine.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Miles Kellogg; his sons, Kevin Kellogg and wife, Christi, Ricky Kellogg, Michael Kellogg and wife, Penny; his daughter, Peggy Harris and husband, David, all of Muskogee; his sister, Sonja Justice of Sand Springs, OK.; his grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Meagan Wiseman, Michael Kellogg, Jr., Kayla Kellogg, Kourtney Kellogg, Mitchel Wiseman, Landon Kellogg, Levi Kellogg, all of Muskogee; and a host of other family members and friends.
Jerome will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
A memorial service celebrating Jerome’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Monty Nichols officiating.
