Connie Susan Reynolds

1952 - 2013

Connie Susan (Cromer) Reynolds, 61, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at her home in Muskogee.

Susan was born February 10, 1952 in Enid, OK, the daughter of Nesby and Florence Cromer. Susan was a loving daughter, wife, and mother who always had a kind word for everyone she encountered.

Susan married Herbert David Reynolds on July 31, 1986. They raised three children with love and understanding. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Nesby D. and Florence J. Cromer; husband, Herbert David Reynolds; and one granddaughter, Emily Elizabeth Claunts.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, David and Katrina Lewis; daughter, DeAnna Gillean Grimes and fiancé, John Lane; son, James Gillean and wife, Charlene Gillean all of Muskogee; 13 grandchildren, Candice Caro, Kathryn Caro, Tiffany Lewis, Jessica Lewis, Kelsie Lewis, Macy Hull, Kasidy Hull, Blake Gillean, Cody Gillean, Whitney Wheeler, Savanna Lane, and Ross Ingram all of Muskogee; five great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Caro, Lavail King, Jayvion Caro, Tre Carey, and Shaun Carey all of Muskogee; special friends, Roy and Brenda Curtis of Muskogee; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 9:30 A.M. Friday, July 12, 2013 at Mountain View Baptist Church with Reverend Lee Leatherman officiating. Pallbearers will be Danny Leatherman, Larry Leatherman, Jason Leatherman, Jacob Tillman, James Shoemake, and Paul Geringer.  Susan will be laid to rest next to her husband at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.
