Elizabeth L. Atchison-Leist

1955-2013

Elizabeth L. Atchison-Leist, Betsy, 58, of Porum, Oklahoma passed away December 9, 2013.  She was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on February 20, 1955 to Bill and Zelda Atchison and had two brothers, Billy and Freddy; and two sisters, Sharolyn and Debra.

Betsy married the love of her life Terry D. Leist, June 18, 1977 and they remained true to each other “to death do you part” as promised in their wedding vows.  Together they raised three children, Rusty, Scott, and Sandra.  They also had 8 grandchildren; Cory, Amber, Alley, Autumn, Montana, Meadow, McKenaugh, and Hayden.

Betsy is preceded in death by her parents, both brothers, and her sister, Debra.

She is survived by; One sister, Sharolyn Wells of Muskogee; Husband, Terry Leist of Porum; All of her children and grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10 am Friday, December 13, 2013 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.  Burial will be at Middleton Chapel Cemetery in Wainwright, Oklahoma.
