Herman “Judge” Shaw

1927 - 2012

Herman "Judge" Shaw of Hoyt, Oklahoma was born September 16, 1927 in Brooken, Oklahoma to Charlie and Minnie (Boyd) Shaw and passed away December 5, 2012 in Stigler, Oklahoma at the age of 85.

He is survived by one daughter, Diana James and husband, Edmund, of Hoyt, Oklahoma. One son, David Shaw of Hoyt, Oklahoma. Three sisters, Christine Coffman of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Gladys Bender of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Shirley Bender of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Two brothers, Yearl "Art" Shaw of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Charles Shaw of Bristow, Oklahoma. Three Grandchildren, Sarah James, Adam James, and Ethan Shaw, all of Hoyt, Oklahoma. Numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna Shaw; three brothers, Hughey “Chuck” Shaw, Oscar Shaw, and Allen “Mutt” Shaw; one sister, Freda Chunning; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Shaw; and his parents.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at Briartown Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Garry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Brooken Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.

Pallbearers will be Tony Miller, Mike Chunning, Jarred Shaw, Steve Bender, Billy Bender, Jerry Eakle. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Brown, Arley Ward, Carl Green, Phillip Bender, Darrel Bender, Mark Bender, Paul Bender, Dennis Shaw, Doyle Denny and Doyle Kennedy.
