Bobby Dale Cheatham

1945 - 2014

Bobby Dale Cheatham, 69, of Haskell, Ok passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his home. He was born March 15, 1945 in Muskogee, Ok to Dallas and Elma (Graves) Cheatham.

Bobby attended school in Haskell and later received his GED. He lived in Kansas for a while working for various oil companies and then moved back to Haskell in 2000 to start the Bobby Cheatham Trucking Company. He was married to Betty Maxine Bontke Cheatham in 1976.

Mr. Cheatham is preceded in death by his parents: Dallas and Elma Cheatham, brother: Sherman Cheatham and an infant sister, Virginia. He is survived by his wife: Betty Maxine of the home, sons: Roy Cheatham, Warren Cheatham, David Cheatham all of Haskell, Sherman Cheatham and fiancée, Lori of Muskogee and Jim Anderson also of Muskogee, daughter: Stacy Cheatham of Broken Arrow, Ok, sisters: Helen Farris and Carolyn Foster both of Tahlequah, and Fern Foutch of Haskell, three grandchildren: Jordan, Logan, and Bo as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Casket Bearers will include Roger Graves, Jerry Graves, Jim Anderson, Brandon Foutch, Blake Foutch and Shannon Graves.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 6, 2014 at the Haskell Assembly of God Church with Rev. Donald Hogue, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Haskell Cemetery under the direction of Dowdy Funeral Home.
