Lucinda Anne “Cindy” Baughman

1953 - 2014

Funeral services for Cindy Baughman, 61, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee with Mayor Bob Coburn officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Zach Long, Justice Baughman, Noble Baughman, and Noah Freedman. Burial will be at Holland Cemetery.

Cindy was born June 13, 1953 in Pawhuska, OK, to Paul D. and Breta Elaine (Cox) Jones. She went to her heavenly home after celebrating her birthday surrounded by her family, June 13, 2014, in Tulsa, OK. Cindy married the love of her life, Floyd Gary Baughman in Stilwell, OK, on October 14, 1969. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, and nana. She worked many years at Coburn’s Tuxedos, but her passion was being a wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, decorating, sewing, crafting, and most of all creating memories with her family. She will be especially remembered for her fighting spirit, sense of humor, and her loyalty to her family.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd Gary Baughman of the home; son, Scott Baughman and wife, Echo, of Muskogee; daughter, Mandy Badyna and husband, Steve, of Lake Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Justice Baughman, Noble Baughman, Owen Paul Badyna, and Amelia Rose Badyna; sister, Paula Long and husband, Doug, of Granbury, TX; niece, Kelly Freedman (whom Cindy thought of as a daughter) and husband, Rob; nephew, Zachary Long; great-nieces and nephew, Zoe, Mia, and Noah Freedman of Coppell, TX; and special friend, Peggy Lamb; and many other loving family and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
