Jeremy Sean Lay was born on December 6th, 1975 in Muskogee, OK, the son of Sam and Frances (Clark) Driggers of Naples, FL.  He attended school at home due to his health issues. Sean worked as a heavy equipment operator. If you knew Sean, you knew he was just an Oklahoma Country boy at heart.  He was a fan of the great outdoors and days  off were spent at the rodeo, fishing, or slinging a little mud. He adored his family and any time spent with them, be it a holiday dinner or a quick cup of coffee, any chat with his granddad Dewey was really special.  Sean was a Christian by faith. He had a large heart and was kind and loving, unfortunately, it was not the strongest physically. His heart failed him slowly until the Lord called him from his earthly labors on Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 in Naples, FL. Sean was 38 years old. He will be greatly missed by his many loving family and friends.

Sean is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewey Clark and wife Helen and his second wife, Versie,  three uncles, Harold, Rodney, and Raymond Clark and one aunt, Janice Bernhardt.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved mother and father, Sam and Frances Driggers of Naples , FL and one brothers family, Tommy Lay and wife Sara of West palm Beach, FL. His legacy lives on in the nephews and nieces he loved so well, Lance Corporal Wesley Kisela of Pensacola, FL, Brittany Lay, Abbigail Lay and Samuel Lay as well as many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and a host of friends and extended family from the Lay’s.
