Thelma I. Barricks

1927 - 2014

Funeral services for Thelma I. Barricks, 86, of Webbers Falls, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 20, 2014 at the First Assembly of God in Webbers Falls with Reverend Ron Butler and Reverend Wendell Cox officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Barricks, Scott Finch, Vince Clark, Eric Chupp, Roger Irving, and Larry Carter. Burial will be in Vaught Cemetery under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.

Thelma was born August 2, 1927 at Webbers Falls, OK, the daughter of George and Sally (Nelson) Menie and died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Muskogee. On December 30, 1943 she married Kenneth Barricks in Gore, OK, and they celebrated 66 years of marriage before his death in 2010. Thelma was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the First Assembly of God. Prior to retirement, Thelma worked as a cook at Webbers Falls school.

Survivors include her children, Edward Barricks and wife, Karen, of Claremore, Shirley Finch and husband, Darryle of Muskogee, Donna S. Terrell of Owasso; six grandchildren, Chris Barricks, Candace Chupp, Lee Ann Miller, Scott Finch, Andrea Terrell, and Kelly Terrell; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Allison Barricks, Lilly Chupp, Lydia Finch, Mackenzie Terrell, Jaxon and Madox Clark; and sister, Audie Cravens of Porum. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; four brothers; and five sisters.
