Bobby Joe Johnson

1934 - 2014

Funeral services for Bobby Joe Johnson will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 27, 2014 at Millsap Funeral Service Chapel in Fort Gibson with Brother James Holder officiating. Pallbearers will be Bill Reynolds, John Landers, Steven Belcher, Raymond Jones, Josh Phillpot, and R. J. Sweat. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson.

Bobby Joe Johnson was born October 29, 1934 in Coalgate, OK, the son of Robert L. Johnson and Mary Lou (Yandell) Johnson. He married Virginia Belcher in 1953 in McAlester. He was retired from Coburn Optical as a machinist.

He leaves his wife, Virginia of the home; one daughter, Lucretia Echols and Dean of Okay; three sons, Anthony Joe Johnson and Dennise of Coweta, Jeffrey Allen Johnson and Gail of Muskogee, and Danny Joe Johnson of Fort Gibson; brother, Cal Johnson of Sulphur; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
