1920 - 2014

Funeral services for Harmon “Snook” Johnson, 93, of Gore, OK, will be held at 9:00 A.M. Friday, January 31, 2014 at Lake Road Church of Christ in Gore with Roy Raines officiating. Burial will be in Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.

Harmon was born December 26, 1920 at Webbers Falls, OK, the son of William and Charlott Abigale (Lundy) Johnson and died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Gore. He was a lifelong resident of the area. Harmon had several occupations through the years that he was proud of including teaching FFA at Webbers Falls for 2 years, being a Church of Christ minister, owner of two restaurants, and district manager of an oil company. He was also proud of his service in the U. S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his son, Tommy Johnson and wife, Alice, of Bloomfield, NM; brother, Fred Johnson and wife, Barbara, of Koontz, TX; two grandchildren, Dana Robinson and Karen Johnson; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
