His journey in faith began at Hope Lutheran Church. At an early age, he was confirmed as a member and served as an elder for many years.

On June 21, 1985, he united in Holy Matrimony to Mable Coleman and to this union one son, Roger Jr., was born.

Death may remove the physical body from our presence but nothing can erase the memories, the ups and downs, the good things and the bad, and most assuredly the joys we shared. We will miss him more than words can express. “His influence lives on in our memories.”
