Norma J. Curtis

1925-2013

Funeral services for Norma J. Curtis, 87, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the West Side Church of Christ with Frank Morgan officiating. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be in Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.

Norma was born July 10, 1925 in Muskogee, OK, the daughter of Teck and Inez (Smith) Fricks and died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in Muskogee. Norma was a graduate of Muskogee Central High. Prior to retirement, she worked as a buyer for Oklahoma School Supply. Norma was a member of the West side Church of Christ.

Survivors include four daughters, Phyllis and husband, Gene Allen Fryar, of Ardmore, Debbie and husband, Jerry James, of Muskogee, Barbara and husband, Ronny Cowan, of Cassville, MO, Karen and husband, Monty Stark, of Tallahassee, FL; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Curtis, in 2004; father, Teck P. Fricks; mother, Inez Randle; granddaughter, Mary Holton; two sisters, Katherine Randle and Lorene Riddle.
