Janice Yvon Terrell

1939 - 2013

Janice Yvon Terrell left this life to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the age of 73.

Janice was born October 3, 1939 in Gore, Oklahoma to Austin and Geneva Spears. Janice grew up in Gore and attended school there. That is where she met the love of her life Orvel “Lee” Terrell and became his loving bride on August 16, 1957. In their 55 years of marriage they made a lot of memories. Janice was well known in her community as a good cook and most called her “granny”. Janice’s special talent was spoiling her grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren. They always brought a smile to her face even in her last days.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Ray Spears; 2 sisters-in- law, Lilo and Bonnie Spears; 1 brother-in-law, Doyle Terrell and nieces and nephews.

Janice is survived by her loving husband, Lee of the home, 2 daughters and sons in law, Linda and Mike Williams of Gore, OK and Vickie and Randy Maxwell of Webbers Falls, OK, 1 son, Lee Terrell, Jr. of Gore, OK, 1 sister, Darlene Terrell of Gum Springs, OK, 1 brother, Ronnie Joe Spears of Gum Springs, OK, 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Granny, you will be missed.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 10 am at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Gore, OK. Burial will be at White Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Active Pallbearers are Butch Terrell, Jim Terrell, Larry Spears, Ronald Terrell, Billy Wayne Terrell and Darrell Terrell
