Katheryn Joyce Graham-Rice


Katheryn Graham-Rice age 80, passed this life on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. 

She was born on October 23, 1932 in Muskogee to Thomas Ralph Graham and Sylvia Scoggins. Katheryn was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. Katheryn had a big heart and did her best to make sure everyone around her was always happy. One of her fondest memories was watching the children ride her brother Gerald’s ponies. She always had a warm spot for animals especially her pet Yorkie named Willie. Some of Katheryn’s favorite pass times were playing bingo and attending religious singings with her friends at Greenleaf Apartments in Muskogee.

She was preceded in death by her husband Norman in 2006, her parents and two sons; Dickie and Clifford Parks, two brothers; Tommy and Ralph Graham, two sisters; Ella Margaret Edwards and June Stonebarger.

Katheryn is survived by her brother Gerald Graham and his wife Julie of Oktaha, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many close friends. 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday June 17, 2013 at Shipman’s Muskogee Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Tom Gregg, officiating. 

Service and arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Muskogee Cremation & Funeral Service, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
