Jess was born April 16, 1969 in Antelope, California to Virginia and Jess Clyde Wilson Sr. and passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 in Fayetteville, Arkansas as a result of a work related accident.

Jess was a carpenter by trade. Building homes was his specialty. He was most proud of pulling his life together, being clean and sober and living the dream in Joplin, Missouri. Jess was full of life and considered himself a fun loving redneck. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, animals, and was always willing to help another. Jess and his sister April had an ongoing rivalry on whose truck would “cross the creek” with April making it and Jess getting stuck most of the time.

Jess also leaves behind his fiancée Amanda Benton and three loving children; Abby, Destiny and Alex, and Jess’s son Jonathan Blunt, numerous other family members and a host of friends.
