Jess and his sister April had an ongoing rivalry on whose truck would “cross the creek” with April making it and Jess getting stuck most of the time.

Jess leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents; Jess Clyde, Sr. and Virginia Wilson of Fort Gibson, two sisters; April Dawn Smith and Danielle Marie Martin both of Fort Gibson, two nieces; Stormie Smith and Krystal Smith; a nephew Michael Smith and a great niece. Jess also leaves behind his fiancée Amanda Benton and three loving children; Abby, Destiny and Alex, and Jess’s son Jonathan Blunt, numerous other family members and a host of friends.
