Patricia Ann Edwards

1953 - 2012

— On July 13,1953 a baby girl was born to Lillian Jolly and Jr. Pettit and they named her Patricia Ann Pettit, better known to friends and family as Pat.

Pat grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma where she attended Dunbar Elementary, Sadler Junior High and graduated from Tahllesia High School. She went on to pursue her education in nursing where she graduated and became a RN, then became employed with St. John hospital over 30 years. She then became employed with UPS until she became ill.

Later she met and married Mr. Rodney Eugene Edwards of 18 years and from their union, a baby, in which she preceded in death.

Pat’s time on this earth ended suddenly on November 16, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She precedes in death her loving mother & father, grandson, brother, mother-in law and brother in-law.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her spouse, Rodney Eugene Edwards; six sons, Ahamd (Dee) Markeith, Marcus (Tulsa, OK), Dontae (South Carolina), Carlais (Oakland, CA), Rodney Jr. (Seattle, WA) and Aaron (Marshall, TX). Four sisters, Shirlene Wright, Denise Payne(OKC, OK), Evaleena (Tulsa OK), Porche Fletcher, Pam Edwards (L.A., California); five brothers, Tony, Eddie (Tulsa, OK), Derrick (Robin)Muskogee, OK, Donald (L.A Calif); 14 grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Very special friend that is know to Pat as (Weechy) Janice Teague.

Services are Saturday November 24, 2012 at Elohim Love Center Ministries in Muskogee at 11AM under the direction of Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc. Friends may visit her on Friday from 12 Noon until 6 p.m.
