Donald H. Parisotto Sr.

1937 - 2014

Services for Donald H. Parisotto Sr. of Gore, Oklahoma (formerly of Wagoner) will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at First Assembly Of God in Wagoner with Pastor’s Guy Parrish and Floyd Collins officiating. Interment will be at the Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner.

Don was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 8, 1937 to Angeline (Azzolin) and Henry S. Parisotto. He served as Private First Class in the U. S. Army from December of 1957 until his honorable discharge in December of 1960.   Donald married Tomi Gale (Pollard) in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 13, 1962. They lived in St. Louis, Missouri where Don owned and operated Arch Heating & Cooling. He was also the branch manager for Gundaker Real Estate in St. Louis. Don and Tomi moved to Wagoner, Oklahoma in 1981. He owned and managed Don’s Discount Sales and Mini Storage. Don was also co-owner of Professional Home Health Care, Inc. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. The most difficult decision he made daily was choosing between going hunting for turkey and deer at “The Farm” or going fishing at the dock at Greenleaf Lake with his children and grandchildren. He was currently the manager of the Greenleaf Fishing Dock, where he enjoyed visiting and fishing with everyone. Don was always full of stories and enjoyed a good laugh. Don was a devout Christian and more than anything, Don loved serving the Lord and witnessing to others of God’s love to those around him. He was a member of Church Central in Muskogee, OK. He also enjoyed visiting First Assembly of God in Gore, OK.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Douglas.

Don is survived by his loving wife Tomi of the home, four sons: Donald H. Parisotto Jr. and his wife Christina of Wagoner, Edward Parisotto and his wife Missy of Muskogee, Christopher Parisotto and his wife Tammy of Arlington, TN, Bryan Parisotto and his wife Bobbi of Wagoner, his brother “Henry” (Hank) Parisotto of St. Louis, MO, one sister, Linda Black, and her husband Bill of St. Louis, MO, his mother in law; Alta Ben Pollard of Wagoner, thirteen grandchildren: Blake, Michaela, Joseph, Joshua, Angeline, Ryan, Madison, Andrew "Pistol", Lydia, Sydney, Aaron, Emily and Brianna, as well as other family members and many close friends.

Visitation for Don will be held on Monday, January 6th, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shipman Funeral Home in Wagoner, OK.
