James Everett “Jim” Goble, 69, was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, May 15, 1944, to Paul and Goldie Quigley Goble. He passed away January 3, 2014, at his home in Fort Worth after a long illness. He was a 1962 graduate of Muskogee Central High School, and attended Oklahoma State University. He was a Mechanical Designer, primarily for defense contractors, and held two patents for improvements in rocket launching systems.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, of the home; one sister, Glenda Goble High of Huntsville, Tx; two step-daughters, Debbie Woehrman and husband, Dan, of Camden Point, Missouri; Joni Cole and husband, Brandon, of Kansas City, Kansas; four grandchildren and a great granddaughter; nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends. His parents, two sisters, Shirley Williamson and Mary Beth Sheward, and a niece and a nephew preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Services on Monday, January 6, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit Sunday evening between 5 and 7 p.m. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, January 8, at 1 p.m.
