Dianne L. Polsley-Hinsley


Dianne Polsley-Hinsley, much beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, was born on December 16th, 1938 in Montevideo, MN to John and Gladys (Lerud) Skrukrud and she passed away on Tuesday, March 11, at her home in Muskogee.  Dianne received her early education in Minnesota and she was a high school graduate.  After high school, Dianne moved to Spencer, Iowa. She worked as a book keeper for over 45 years.  Dianne moved from Spencer, Iowa to Muskogee, Oklahoma where she was a member of community since 1991.  On April 30th, 2005, she married Danny Hinsley here in Muskogee.  Dianne loved the outdoors.  She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and working in the garden and she loved to go camping anytime she could get the chance.  She loved to be outside where she could relax and enjoy the beautiful things in nature that God created, go fishing for crappie at Spaniard Creek and visiting with family and friends at the campsite gave her peace.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, two children Deanna and Odie Niemeyer.  One brother Robert Skrukrud and one sister Beverly Skrukrud.

She is survived by her husband Danny Hinsley of the home.  One son Galen Niemeyer and wife Tracy of Sanborn, Iowa.  One daughter Terri Niemeyer of Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Four brothers Jack Skrukrud and wife Joan of Kandiyohi, Minnesota, JohnLee Skrukrud and wife Joanne of Sacred Heart, Minnesota, Thomas Skrukrud and wife Barbra of Rockwood, Pennsylvania and Bruce Skrukrud and wife Diane of Plymouth, Minnesota.  Three sisters Ramonia Skjefte of Maple Grove Minnesota, Geraldine Sietsema of Sacred Heart, Minnesota and Ruth Hopkins and husband Gary of Waverly, Minnesota.  Two grandchildren Christopher Niemeyer of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Amber Walker and husband Michael of Oktaha, Oklahoma.  Two great grandchildren Jonathon Niemeyer and Dylon Walker.  Numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 22nd, 2014 at the Shipman's Muskogee Funeral Chapel, 1325 N. York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
