Sabrina Nicole Duncan (Deerinwater)


Sabrina Nicole Duncan (Deerinwater), 27, of Jacksonville, N.C., passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, in Durham, N.C. She was born January 18,1987 in Dallas, Texas to Steve and Lisa Deerinwater. Sabrina grew up and attended school in Muskogee. She was a member of the 2005 graduation class of Muskogee High School. Upon graduation she furthered her education at Haskell Community College in Lawrence, Kansas.

Sabrina married her husband, Justin Duncan, of Muskogee on May 29, 2009, in San Bernardino, Calif. Sabrina lived in several states during her marriage due to her husband’s service in the Marines. They enjoyed riding motorcycles and raising their German shepherds.

Sabrina is preceded in death by her father, Steve Deerinwater; grandparents Darrell and Doris Deerinwater, and great-grandparents.

Sabrina is survived by her husband Justin Duncan; mother, Lisa Deerinwater; sisters, Stevie and husband, Cody Moore, and Sydney Deerinwater; brother, Creed Deerinwater; niece, Kynlee Mae Moore; nephews, Steven Landon and Spencer Deerinwater; grandparents Denver and Harmilee Huskey and Bill and Barbara Hutchinson; aunts and uncles, Ronnie and Tresa Elms, Greg and Jennifer Huskey, Yvonne and Stan Hensley, Randy and Judy Deerinwater, Andra Megaleine, and Kelly Curtright; and many other family members.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at York Street Christian Church, 1125 S. York St., Muskogee, Okla. with Pastor Gene Thompson officiating.
