Steven Dale Hanna, 54, of Warner, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 with his wife at his side.
He was born October 18, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Melvin Dale Hanna and Marjorie Elaine Gibbs Hanna. Steven attended Tulsa schools and graduated in 1976 from Daniel Webster High School. He was a carpenter by trade. He also worked as a Manager for ServiceMaster in Fort Gibson. His hobbies included building things out of wood, writing poetry, watching his grandkids play sports, OU football, and reading his Bible. But most important, was spending time with his family and friends.
Steven married Lisa Kay Leopard on April 27, 2007 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Marjorie Hanna.
Steven is survived by his wife, Lisa, of the home; his son, Stroth Hanna and wife, Sarah of Cleveland, OK; his stepchildren, Bradley Leopard and wife, Savannah of Muskogee, Angel O’Guinn and husband, Matthew of Inola, OK; his grandchildren, Kylar Hanna, Kaden Hanna, Kelainey Hanna and Trevin Whittle; his brothers, Clyde Hanna of Sandusky, OH and Dwayne Hanna of Tulsa, OK; his father-in-law, James Hyslope; his brother-in-law, Rick Hyslope and wife, Lynda; his sister-in-law, Karen Christie and husband, Tim; and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral services for Steven will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ed Hyslope and Rev. Wendell Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls, OK. with Rick Hyslope, Jesse Friend, Bradley Leopard, David Cash, Jack Friend, and Ken Gibbs serving as pallbearers.
