Lenora Allen


Lenora Allen was born on May 12, 1934 in Stone Bluff, Oklahoma to Claude McGlothlin and Goldie (Stage) McGlothlin. She passed from this life on November 25, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years, 6 months & 13 days. Lenora had lived in this area virtually all of her life. She will be remembered by her family as a devoted and loving homemaker. For many years, she was an active member and worshipped at the Haskell First Assembly of God Church. When she had time for herself, she loved to paint pictures and was well known for her ability to bake and decorate cakes. She married Wayne Allen on November 27, 1952 in Tulsa and after more than 60 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on December 3, 2012. She was also preceded by 2 sisters; Edith Williams and Pat Fields-Ferguson. She is survived by 1 daughter; Gayla Bailey and husband Dale, of Wagoner, OK, 1 brother; Wes McGlothlin and wife Shirley, of Bixby, 1 sister; Elsie “Pete” Dobbins of Coweta, 3 grandchildren; Rob Bailey, Ryan Bailey & Chris Gethers, 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews and several other family members and friends. Casket bearers are Roy Webb, Rob Bailey, Ryan Bailey, Ronnie McGlothlin, Randy McGlothlin & Gary Fields.

Funeral Service are10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Haskell First Assembly of God Church with interment following in the Haskell Cemetery officiated by Rev. Donald Hogue, Jr. Services by Dowdy Funeral Home of Haskell.
