Helen Myers

1920-2012

— Helen Myers, 92, passed away on Tuesday December 25, 2012 in Checotah. Helen was born on June 3, 1930 in Cromwell, OK to Oren and Lillian Smith. She lived in Boynton and Checotah area most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Boynton, OK.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents Oren and Lillian, her husband Perry Myers, Brother Kenneth Smith and Big Mama Smith.

Helen is survived by 5 sons Harold Gene Conrad of Council Hill, Carl Conrad of Palestine TX, Larry Myers of Okmulgee, Rogers Myers of Oktaha, and Bruce Mooney of Wainwright; 9 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; sister Flora and husband John Ed Kelly of Boynton; 2 brothers James and wife Katy Smith of Oktaha, Odie and wife June Smith of Okmulgee; niece Ardith McKaig of Morris and a host of other relatives and friends. Helen loved fishing, cooking, sewing and playing with her grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday December 29, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Wainwright at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Bill Sherrill officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Tim Conrad, Dwayne Conrad, Dean Conrad, Ryan Myers, Jeremy Roach and Scott Bunch.
