Burniece S. “Niecee” Garman

1933 - 2013

— Funeral services for “Niecee” will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 21 at the chapel of Reed-Culver Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 10, 1933, and died Monday of pulmonary insufficiency.

“Niecee’s” greatest pleasure was fishing or hunting arrowheads with her now-deceased husband. At one time they had a large and beautiful collection of framed arrowheads.

Preceding “Niecee” in death were her husband, Jimmie Lee Garman; her parents, Jeff and Ruby Adcock; and her two sons, Dwight Arnold and Virgil Ray Pitts. She is survived by one daughter, Valeda Stover; two brothers and their wives, Dennis and Wayne Adcock all of Muskogee; and four sisters, Fay Learned and husband of Bella Vista, Arkansas; Myrna Hammons and Carol Lamberson, both of Tahlequah; and Genell Copeland and husband of Hulbert; and eight grandchildren.

Burial will be in Tahlequah City Cemetery.
