Ruby D. Cullen

1925 - 2013

— Ruby D. Cullen passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the age of 88 following illness. She was born June 1, 1925 to Everett Schilt and Lucinda Adams in Muskogee, OK. Ruby graduated from Central High School.

She is survived by her spouse, James T. Cullen of the home; daughter, Cindy Kane and the late Richard Kane of Muskogee; granddaughter, Traci and Evan Anderson of Broken Arrow, OK; two great-grandsons, Declan and Colin Anderson of Broken Arrow; nephew, Walter and Linda Schilt of Muskogee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Loretta Seabolt, Helen Coppock, Anna Greuel, and Vonnie Cullen of Muskogee, Becky Harding of Wagoner, Patsy and Earnest Adams of Porter, Mary Cullen of Irving, TX and June Schilt of Poteau, OK.

She was an active square dancer in her youth, enjoyed time spent at the lake, and was a dedicated auxiliary volunteer at Muskogee General Hospital and Muskogee Regional Medical Center, serving from 1975 through 2010.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 with Father Michael Knipe officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery.

Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home. Condolences to the family may be made at www.foster-petering.com
