Patricia Ann Cole Jones

1951-2013

Patricia Ann Cole Jones, 61, of Mars Hill passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at John F. Keever Solace Center after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs. Jones was born December 31, 1951 in Franklin County, AR.  Patricia earned her PhD where, together with her husband shared a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. A vision that would grow to reach thousands, Patricia touched every person she came in contact with, in both her personal life and through her work in ministry. Her loving spirit will resonate through eternity.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Ray and Lilly Martin Cole; brothers, Ray and Jerry Cole.

Surviving are her husband of 43 years,  James E. (Jim) Jones, of Mars Hill; son, Jeremey C. Jones (Angela) of Mars Hill; their five sons, Trystan, Tanner, Trevor, Trent (P-Nut) and Tate, also known as “Tribe of 5”; a daughter, Jennifer R. Jones Del-Giu Dice (Billy)  of Orlando, FL; their children, Rocco, William, Lily and Hannah; five brothers, Wayne Cole (Patty) of Turley, OK, Orville Cole of Sand Springs, Marvin Cole (Carol) of Sand Springs, Delmer Cole of Sperry and Ronnie Cole (Connie) of Sand Springs.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Dillon & Smith Funeral Service Legacy Chapel in Sand Springs, OK with Reverend Gerald Byrd officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery.
