Billy Gene Dotson


Funeral services for Billy Gene Dotson, 80, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 11, 2013 at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Muskogee with Reverend Gary Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.

Billy was born January 18, 1933 at Bristow, OK, the son of George and Ruby (Arnold) Dotson and died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Muskogee. On January 13, 1953 he married Jewell Dean Norman in Bristow, OK. Billy served his country in the U. S. Army. Prior to retirement, he worked as a pipefitter and was a member of the Local 430 Pipefitters Union of Tulsa, OK.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of the home; two sons, Larry Dotson and wife, Sherri, of Broken Arrow, Gary Dotson and wife, Vonda, of Muskogee; brother, Bob Dotson of Borger, TX; sister, Lorianne Kerley of Bristow; four grandchildren, Hannah, Jamie, David, and Josie. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and four sisters.
