Margarett Petross

1947 - 2013

Margarett L. Petross, 66, died Friday, November 1, 2013 in Muskogee, OK. She was born March 5, 1947 to Garvis and Mary (Reece) Wooten. Margarett was a 1965 graduate of Webbers Falls High School and a LPN graduate from Bacone College. She worked as a nurse in Joplin, MO and Muskogee, OK. She married Wayne Clark and then later married Marshall Petross. She enjoyed playing organized softball for many years and loved her dogs.

Margarett was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Clark; and sister, Sue Ann Wooten. She is survived by sons, Steven “Nubbin” Wayne Clark, and Stacey Gene Clark; grandchildren, James Clark, Madison Clark, Carlie Clark and Kaitlin Clark; sisters, Doris Neel and husband Barry, Barbara Merritt and husband Richard, and Jerl Dean Adams; brother, Garvis Cleo Wooten Jr.; as well as extended nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Margarett Petross will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Bradley Belltower Chapel with Mr. Richard Merritt officiating.
