Geneva Jane Foreman Cluck, 69, of Muskogee, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was born October 10, 1937 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Haskell and Okla Cheek Foreman. Jane grew up in Muskogee. She attended Sequoyah Elementary School, Alice Robertson Jr. High, and graduated from Central High School in 1955.
On June 1, 1956 she married Donald Foster Cluck. She stayed at home with her children until they reached school age. She was employed at the Corning Glass Plant, Veterans Administration Regional Office in Muskogee, Bethany Presbyterian Church, and Cluck Glass Company. She was an active member of Timothy Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Gene Paul Foreman, son-in-law, Dale R. Fletcher and brother-in-law, Cecil Cluck.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Don, of Muskogee; sister, Danelle Conely of Tomball, TX; sister-in-law, Phyllis Cluck of Muskogee; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Janice Cluck of Muskogee; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Tim Payne of Oktaha, daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Greg Riggs of Broken Arrow; grandchildren, Carly Shae Cluck of Sulphur, LA, Kimberly and Bradley Cluck of Muskogee, Ryan and Brent Fletcher and Stephanie Payne of Oktaha, April Riggs of Tulsa and great-granddaughter, Amber Middleswart of Tulsa.
Jane was the "rock" of the family and touched the lives of all that knew her. "Mam-Ma" was the influence of all the good in both her children and grandchildren. The statement "she was loved by all who knew her" personifies Jane. She will be missed by all, but will continue to influence the lives of her "entire family".
There will be a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Timothy Baptist Church, 5530 W. Okmulgee, Muskogee. Friends may wish to remember Jane by making memorials to the Timothy Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Fund.
