Amy Romine

1919 - 2013

— Amy Romine went home to her Lord on March 27, 2013. Amy was born to Jack and Walcie Lowery in Briartown, Oklahoma on October 10, 1919.

She married Paul Romine in 1936 and raised four children, Pat Parkey, Pauline Rector, Don Romine and Gary Romine.

She is preceded in death by her husband Paul; youngest daughter Pauline; three sisters, Babe Swearingen, Evelyn Killian and Marjorie Mann; brother Carl Lowery; and grandson John Paul Rector. Amy leaves behind to cherish her memories one daughter, Pat Parkey and husband Glen of Amarillo, TX; 2 sons, Don Romine and wife Sammye of Tulsa, and Gary Romine and wife Beverly of Muskogee; son-in-law Ken Rector of New Brumsfield, Texas; brother Bill Lowery and wife Margaret of Muskogee; ten grandchildren, Paul Parkey, April Sanchez, Brooke Box, Jim Rector, Amy Shuck, Macy Miller, Clay Romine, Sam Romine, Mark Romine and Nick Romine.

Amy was a long time resident of Muskogee and member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She will always be remembered for her incredible kindness and immense faith.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 711 Spaulding Boulevard, Muskogee, OK, then laid to rest with her beloved Paul in Dumas, Texas. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Hibbs Funeral Home.
