Shelby Leona Louise Thayer

1992-2013

Shelby Leona Louise Thayer, of Wainwright, died on October 14, 2013 in Tulsa after a long illness. She was born in Muskogee on July 2, 1992. Shelby is in no more pain and resting in the arms of Jesus. She was so precious, always had a big smile for everyone. Shelby was preceded in death by her little brother Wesley Michael Stephen Thayer, Grandfather Jim Guthrie grandmother Morene Guthrie.

Left to cherish her memory her mother Lura McKay and husband Tony of Checotah, Steve Guthrie her very “Special” Uncle of Wainwright who so loving watch over her, and her very special grandmother Bernice Guthrie of Wainwright. She is also survived by her father and wife Cindy Thayer of Ft. Gibson, also by four uncles Jerry and Tom Guthrie of Wainwright, Danny Guthrie of Salina and Rick Guthrie of Mannford.

Shelby was loved by so many special people in her life, her nurses Suzanna, Brandy and Pat, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral services will be held in the Wainwright Assembly of God on Friday at 2:00 p.m. burial to follow in the Middleton Chapel Cemetery with Cecil Guthrie officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Guthrie, Tom Guthrie, Rick Guthrie, Danny Guthrie, Johnny Grogan and Alan Cowen. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Moore Steve Guthrie and Suzanna Sly, and David Hammons.

Shelby will be missed by all the people that passed through her life. God Bless the Angel.
