Funeral services for Selton Emmitt Cartwright, 86, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Ridley and Bo Gann officiating. Pallbearers will be Wayne Cartwright, Ricky Cartwright, Wyatt Cartwright, Tyler Cartwright, Joshua Cartwright, and Garrett Ledford. Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky Marvel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Selton was born April 18, 1927 East of Muskogee, OK, the son of Felix and Elva (Cox) Cartwright and died Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Muskogee. On June 22, 1946, Selton married Audrey Mae Farmer. Audrey preceded him in death on March 25, 2004. Selton was an ordained Free Will Baptist minister, pastored six different small churches in the area, and was active among youth and youth camp activities for several years.

Survivors include his son, Lanny Cartwright and Barbara of Oktaha; two grandsons, Wayne Cartwright and Kristen of Oktaha, Ricky Cartwright and Jennifier of Oktaha; seven great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Morgen, Joshua, Tyler, and Mindi Cartwright, Addison West, and Garrett Ledford all of Oktaha; five sisters, Ada Herriman of Boynton, Arnedis Godfrey of Muskogee, Lorene Moffet and Bert of Marble City, Nora Lee Hamby of Okay, Faye Crumpler and Ray of Hot Springs, AR; brother, Donald Perryman and Joyce of Warner; uncle, Mike Cox of Muskogee; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
