— Jody Lee Kessler, 27 of Muskogee, died Tuesday July 9, 2013. Jody was born October 26, 1985 in Muskogee to Robert Dale Kessler and Sally Ann (Siedlik) Kessler. He grew up and attended Muskogee Public Schools. After high school he began his career as a welder, which was his chosen occupation.

Jody is survived by, his mother, Sally Kessler of Muskogee; his father, Robert Kessler of Checotah; his brothers, David Siedlik and wife Kendall, Justin Kessler and wife Danielle, and Cody Kessler all of Muskogee; his grandmother, Ruby Siedlik of Muskogee; his girlfriend, Kathy Ybarra of Warner; his aunts, Kathy Bell, and Sherry Goodman and husband Harold all of Muskogee; his uncles, Frank Kessler and wife Paula of Checotah, Floyd Kessler and wife Tina of Nowata, David Kessler and Gloria of Muskogee, Ritchy Brown and wife Betty of Haskell, Bruce Pierce and wife Lois of Checotah, Donna Pierce of Eufaula, Charlie Kessler of Checotah, Bonnie Kessler of Checotah, Raymond Kessler of Kansas; His four very special nephews, Kielton and Matic Siedlik, Haden Steele and Junior Kessler (or Jody’s nickname for him, “Little Whiskey”); numerous cousins and special friends.

Jody’s family wants to say “Thank you” for all the phone calls and prayers and a special thanks is extended to Tammy Harless and Samantha Thompson for everything.

Funeral services for Jody will be Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tammy Harless officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be David Siedlik, Justin Kessler, Marcus Davis, Dustin Cowden, Jesse Cowden and Jerod David. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah.

Services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma. Condolences may be made to the family at
