Steven Edward Bickle

1950 -2013

Steven Edward Bickle of Whitefield, Oklahoma was born April 21, 1950 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Sam and Beatrice Lucille (Spears) Bickle and passed away May 15, 2013, in Whitefield, Oklahoma at the age of 63.

Steve grew up in Whitefield surrounded by many cousins and friends. He graduated from Stigler High School in 1968 and received his Bachelor’s degree from NSU in 1972. He worked for many years at Phoenix Federal and eventually was named Vice President. He later worked as the financial officer for Toyota of Muskogee, retiring in 2010. He married his high school sweetheart in 1969 and was blessed with three sons and four granddaughters.

He is survived by three sons, Brad Bickle of Stigler, Oklahoma, Brent Bickle  and wife, Heather, of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Bryce Bickle of Muskogee, Oklahoma. One sister, Sandra Warren and husband, Jerl, of McCurtain, Oklahoma, four granddaughters, Kadence, Samantha, Brityn and Aubree. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Bea Bickle and the wife of his children, Deborah Wilhite.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Whitefield Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Bob Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Whitefield Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brad Bickle, Brent Bickle, Bryce Bickle, Jared Thomas, Clint Hale and Jeremy Stubblefield. Honorary pallbearers will be, Willie Keifer and Joe Leonard.
