Funeral services for Jimmy L. Carter, 74, of Webbers Falls, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Webbers Falls Event Center with Reverend Jason Ravan and Reverend Wendell Cox officiating. Nephews: Frank Klucevsek, Adam Klucevsek, Jeff Carter, Justin Carter, Jerome Carter, and Kevin Carter Springer will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Jones, Buddy Southerland, and Mickey Igert. Burial will be in White Cemetery under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.
Jimmy was born December 8, 1939 at Webbers Falls, OK, the son of Cleo J. and Opal M. (Boswell) Carter and died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Gore. Jimmy attended Webbers Falls school, graduated from Gore High School and Connors College. On January 26, 1979 Jimmy married Louise (McGlamery) Gamble in Gore. Jimmy was a lifelong resident of the area and attended First Baptist Church. After serving his country in the U. S. Army, Jimmy went on to work for Acme Engineering.
Survivors include his wife, Louise of the home; daughters, Tracy Ross of Gore and Judy Morton of Webbers Falls; four grandchildren, Sydney and Lyndsey Graves, Natalie Ross, and Rebecca Morton; brothers, Don Carter and Janis, Gary Carter and Judy, Larry Carter and Carolyn, Delbert “Deb” Carter all of Gore; sisters, Linda Neer and Bruce of Gore, Judy Merrill and Steve of Casa Grande, AZ, Evelyn Klucevsek and Frank of Chouteau; two aunts, Bobbie Mullins and Bill of Webbers Falls, Lena Risley of Vian; uncle, James Carter and Mary of Rose, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Dana Springer.
