Florence Norman


Florence Norman, 80, peacefully passed away May 2, 2014, at her home in Muskogee, Ok.  She was born September 25, 1933, in Skidler, Ok, to the parents of William and Inez Washington.  Later in life she met and married the love of her life, Mr. Otto Norman.  This union was blessed with seven children.  Ms. Norman devoted much of her time and energy to family and friends.  Her charm and smile set could enlighten any given situation.  She was also a long time member of Toast Master.

She was preceded in death by her husband Otto, son Otto Jr., granddaughter Tanisha Norman,  great grandsons Curtis Norman lll and Jerod Reed.

She leaves in God’s care, her children, Winfred Norman, Amarillo Tx, Curtis Norman and wife Linda, Muskogee, Ok, Charlene Robinson and husband John, Muskogee, Ok, Cathy Crutchfield and husband Ernest, Muskogee, Ok, Sharon Townsend, Muskogee, Ok, Kim Osborne and husband Mike, Bearden, Ok; fourteen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren.

Visitation for family will be Friday, May 9, from 12pm-1pm at Ragsdale Funeral Center, 2200 Military Blvd., Muskogee, Ok.  Visitation for friends will be from 1pm-6pm, Friday May 9.

Services will be at First Baptist Church, 429 Denison, Muskogee, at 10am Saturday, May 10.  Pastor C. Maurice Baccus Jr. will officiate.
