1922- 2013

— Virginia Louise Davis, 90 passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at her home in Muskogee. She was born March 21, 1922.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Granville Higginbothom and Flossie H. (Young) Higginbothom, brothers, Freddie and F.M. (Bob) Higginbothom and sister Eva Wimmer.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Jay) and Tresa Davis of Muskogee, Larry and Judy Davis of Snohomish, Washington, 3 brothers, Dick Higginbothom of Tahlequah, Sam Higginbothom of Grassvalley, California and Donald Higginbothom of Muskogee and 3 sisters, Helen Kris of Mesa, Arizona, Betty Findley and Judy Flud both of Muskogee.

She has four grandchildren, Heather Phillips of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Jamie Reeder of Tahlequah, Colin  Davis of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Ericka Davis of Snohomish, Washington, also three great-grandchildren, Colter and MacKinnley Phillips of Pea Ridge, Arkansas and Kaydri Davis of Snohomish, Washington and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday March 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church in Muskogee. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Central Baptist Church.
