Dorothy Mae Ragsdale

1930 - 2013

— Dorothy Mae Ragsdale, eighty-three, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma quietly slipped into eternal sleep on April 10th, 2013. She was born January 13th, 1930 in Seven Mile Corner, Oklahoma. Prior to her moving to Oklahoma City in 2011, Dorothy made her home in Muskogee.

She enjoyed gardening and cooking, especially trying her hand at new recipes. Dorothy gave her life to Jehovah and was his faithful servant until her death.

The family she leaves to cherish their fond memories of her include six children: Paulette Scott, Muskogee, OK, Randy Gaston, Haywood, CA, Juanita Gaston, Oklahoma City, OK, and Gerald Gaston, Michael Ragsdale and Anthony Ragsdale, all of Muskogee, OK; twenty-four grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, three brothers and her oldest son.

Services for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, April 16th, 2013, 2:00 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. Visitation hours are today from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm.

Services are under the direction of Ragsdale Funeral Center.
