Earl Wayne Foster

1929 – 2013

Earl Wayne Foster, 84, died December 1, 2013.  He was born August 22, 1929 in Schulter, Oklahoma to Everett and Effie Minnie (Bean) Foster.  He worked at Muskogee Regional Hospital for 35 years until his retirement.  He loved gardening and camping.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Darrell, Jarrell and Charles; sisters, Eloise, Mary and Judy; son, Ricky; his wife, Lavada “Sudie” and grandsons, Jason and Jeremy Foster.

He is survived by his son, Philip Foster of Muskogee; daughter and son-in-law, Ruth  and Rex Hardy of Tucson, AZ; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Pat Foster of Muskogee; daughter, Susan Hayes of Muskogee; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Tony Dunlap of Muskogee; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Darrell Desposito of Muskogee; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at New Hope Assembly of God with Pastor Monte Humphrey officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Larry Kennedy, Garrett Desposito, Shane Foster, Scott Hayes and Jeremy Sidebottom.  Honorary pallbearers will be Frankie Faucett and Therral Jones.

Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
