1912 - 2012

Mable Haws, age 99, passed away November 15, 2012. Mable was born on November 30, 1912 to Thomas and Mary Lou (Blankenship) Henry in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Mable lived in Oklahoma her entire life. She was a member of the Eastern Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in the kitchen at the church and was a member of the Berean Class. Mabel went to be with the Lord on the anniversary of her only child, daughter Billie’s birth.

Mable was preceded in death by her mother and father; 4 brothers, James, Ed, Leo, and Ray; 2 sisters, Claudia Reese and Maudie Henry; and a great-grandchild Matthew Levi McGee. Mable leaves behind to cherish her memories 1 daughter, Billie Rae McGee of Choctaw; 1 sister Inez Ellis of Muskogee; 3 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchild; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Muskogee, Oklahoma with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, Muskogee, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Hibbs Funeral Home, Choctaw, OK.
